This resource provides an end-to-end solution for planning, tracking, and reflecting on standards-based assessment using Exemplars' products.
The Suite includes tools for:
- Preliminary Planning
This guide helps teachers think about the problem being used, why it is being used and how it is being used. It is designed to help teachers successfully integrate standards-based tasks into their curriculum and assists them in thinking through the necessary steps before they begin.
- Assessment Analysis and Reporting
This tool generates progress reports on individual students and classes based on overall performance and individual rubric criteria. The assessment data that is entered can be exported to Excel or most student information systems to eliminate the need for double-entry.
- Task Reflection Diary
A task isn't complete until teachers have taken the time to reflect on the success of it and the performance of their students. Exemplars' online diary helps teachers identify action items for their class to address as well as any changes that should be made to improve class performance on future standards-based tasks. (Or, to improve the performance of future classes.)
