Meet our Professional Development Instructors: Jacqueline Labate |
Jacqueline Labate
Primary Focus:Mathematics, grades K-8 BackgroundJacqueline Labate is a former mathematics teacher of all grades K-12. She earned her Master of Arts degree in mathematics education from Vermont College of Norwich University. She has over 20 years of teaching experience in the classroom. For the past 13 years Jacqueline has owned and directed Galusha Hill Consulting, which offers staff development in mathematics to schools nationwide. She has been consulting for Exemplars for 7 years. Jacqueline's additional experience includes working as a statewide conference coordinator and presenter for the Vermont Institute for Science, Math and Technology and developing and teaching graduate level courses for several Vermont universities. She has also served as a faculty member at the Grafton Educational Leadership Institute, where she presented at workshops and co-coordinated this statewide K-3 institute. |
