What's New?: The Exemplars Assessment Suite

The Exemplars Online Assessment Suite is an online tool to help teachers plan their assessments, keep track of individual student performance and class performance and reflect on how particular assessments went (a diary, if you will).

From the Field: Moving Math Instruction One Task at a Time

Charlie Tocci, a researcher from NCREST (National Center for Restructuring Education, Schools and Teaching) at Columbia University's Teachers College, reports on the alliance between NCREST, ISA (Institute for Student Achievement) and Exemplars. This national project is focused in part on the development of "instructional capacity to support inquiry-based learning and literacy and numeracy across the curriculum."

Supporting Math Reform in the NYC Middle Schools

Exemplars is pleased to be working in collaboration with 200 New York City middle schools, to provide assessment and instruction material as well as professional development.
