Institutes

Exemplars offers annual open-enrollment Institutes.

In these sessions, educators from around the nation join us in exploring standards-based assessment and instruction using Exemplars performance material and rubrics.

Whether your school/district is just getting started with Exemplars, an experienced user, or considering implementation of the program, our Institutes provide an environment to help you meet your goal(s).

2013 Summer Institute

This year's Institute will be held on August 20, 21 and 22 in New York, NY at Hunter College. The following one-day sessions will be offered:

• Problem Solving for the Common Core, K-5: Performance Tasks, Rubrics and Anchor Papers

• Best of Number and Operations, K-2: Teaching Number Sense and Place Value to Young Children (Make and Take)

• Best of Number and Operations, 3-5: Place Value, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division (Make and Take)
