Responding to Text, K-4
This is an introductory workshop designed for educators who are becoming familiar with teaching writing to young children.
Participants will gain an understanding of the difference between retelling, analysis of literature and summary. Instruction will include whole-class and guided lessons using The Painted Essay™ and other techniques.
